Dear members and friends of JCI Expat Budapest!

In this season of joy, gratitude and warmth, we are thankful for your friendship and support.  At the close of another successful year for JCI Expat Budapest, we would like to invite You to our international Potluck Dinner on December 17, Saturday at 19:00.

What is Potluck? This is true feast of taste, when each guest contributes a home-made dish to be shared among the group. Please bring something special from your country’s cuisine, save money instead of spending it at the restaurant, and enjoy delicious dishes from all around the world!

What to bring? Please contact Orsi Karacsony at potluck2011@jciexpatbudapest.com. She will coordinate our luscious menu.

Where to come? Our kind host for the event is a multi-talented entrepreneur David Trayford.
Address: 1066 Budapest, Terez krt 23.2/8b, a.k.a Sleepless in Budapest

Every Christmas we help less fortunate members of our society and this year we are supporting children at the homeless shelter at Menedékház. We have teamed up with Serve the City organization, which has initiated the Christmas Shoe Box collection of gifts. You can make an in-kind gift or a donation of 3,000 HUF per shoe box, and Serve the City volunteers will deliver them directly to the homeless shelter on December 20. At the potluck party, Adrienn Pasics, JCI FVE and volunteer at STC, will tell you more about the organization and how they are helping the needy in Budapest.
Come, eat, celebrate and serve the city!

Please RSVP by Wednesday, December 14 to potluck2011@jciexpatbudpest.com

With warm regards,

JCI Expat Budapest Team
